Clare Foster

Clare ran her own business in Kent for seven years before relocating to Herefordshire where she trained to become a qualified life coach. In 2003 Clare became a Business Volunteer Mentor working with small rural companies and in the same year decided to use the knowledge and experience she had gained from the previous 20 years and started her own business as a Business Growth Coach.

Clare’s passion is to empower others, to support them in realising their dreams. Having become frustrated at only being able to assist a few people in an area where there is a great need for support, Clare wanted to find a way of reaching anyone thinking of starting a business or in the first few years of running their own business. She wanted to find a way to give them the necessary information they need to find the support available.

For this reason Clare set up her own production company in 2005 and produced a DVD for Small Businesses that will make people aware of the support available in the community. Midwest Rural Enterprise is licensed to take the DVD into schools and out into the local community.

Recently Clare has become more and more interested in Social Enterprise and has set up her own third sector organisation. Clare is a Business Growth Coach and a Sfedi accredited Social Enterprise Adviser assisting people who want to start or are running Social Enterprises.
