Our Team - Chris England
Chris is a self employed skills development adviser and trainer. During a varied career he has worked for corporate, national and international bodies improving leadership and management capabilities, and organisational performance.
Living in North West Herefordshire, he now assists local businesses and 'not-for-profit' organisations to reap the benefits of improving the knowledge and skills of all their staff. Chris is a SFEDI accredited Business Adviser and he also holds the Social Enterprise adviser endorsement.
For the last ten years Chris has been a volunteer mentor, providing support to local people starting in business. He has also been active as a trainer and assessor for mentor development/accreditation programmes for the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies, the Regional Development Agency and a number of 'not for profit' organisations.
Chris has particular expertise in developing the infrastructure of emerging social enterprises and served as a Non-Executive Director one of the first five businesses in the UK to achieve Star Social Firm status. Chris is a Governor of a local Special Needs secondary school and also a member of the Career Link Panel which provides resettlement advice to people leaving HM Forces, who want to start their own business.
