Case Studies - Social Enterprise DVD Launch

Midwest Rural Enterprise launched a new Social Enterprise DVD at an

event at The Fold in Bransford on the 7th October.

The DVD is presented by TV personality Dick Strawbridge and features

five Social Enterprises.

Attending the event were represetatives from local councils and support

organisations and local people who are thinking about setting up a

Social Enterprise.

Sara Burgess the Communities Interest Company regulator, also attending

the event and features in the film. There was a good Q & A session after

the film, where local people asked Sara about the pro's and con's of

setting up a CIC.

Midwest Rural Enterprise is currently talking to a number of support

organisations to find the best way of distributing the film.
